St. ANTHONY’S PARISH, POINT FORTIN:
On behalf of Fr. Baskar, I wish to express heartfelt thanks to all

- Ministries that contributed to making last Sunday’s
Celebration a truly spirit-filled and memorable day for the
Confirmation Candidates of the Southern Vicariate. I would
also like to extend thanks to those who volunteered their time to
clean and enhance the appearance of the church and to those
who gave donations. May God bestow an abundance of
blessings upon you for your stewardship of time, talent and
treasure.
- All Eucharistic Ministers are requested to attend a meeting on
Monday 5th June, 2017 at 6.00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
- Baptism Classes continue every Tuesday at 5.00 p.m. in the
Parish Hall. Parents interested in having their child/children
baptized are being asked to collect a registration package at the
Parish Office.
- A meeting of the Hospitality Ministry is carded for Tuesday
6th June, 2017 at 6.00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. All members are
requested to attend.
- A Triduum to St. Anthony (Our Patron Saint) takes place
from Sunday 11th June to Tuesday 13th June, 2017 at St.
Anthony’s at 6.00 p.m. each evening. No other Masses or
services will be celebrated during this Triduum. Each
community is being asked to contribute towards a bring and
share on the Feast Day. Details will be conveyed through your
community representative.
- The Solemnity of Corpus Christi – Thursday 15th June, 2017.
- ANTHONY:
Procession begins at 7.00 a.m. from Victor Chin Kit Park to
the main church for the celebration of Holy Mass.
CEDROS:
A service will be held at St. Josesph R.C. Church, Bonasse at
8.00 a.m.
- Until the appointment of a Sexton parishioners are kindly
being advised as follows:
– Those ministries using the church premises after working
hours must undertake the responsibility of securing the
premises after use in the event Mr. Lee is unavailable so to
do.
– Mr. Lee must be informed in advance when these meetings
or practice sessions are being held.
- Parishioners desirous of purchasing bottles of Blessed Oil
are kindly being asked to place their names on the list
provided at the Bookshop. The Oil will be distributed at the end
of the Novena to the Holy Spirit.CEDROS
- The Parish Priest and parishioners of St. Joachim R. C.
Church, Granville invite you to their Family Day on Sunday
30th July, 2017. Holy Mass will begin at 10.00 a.m.
Parishioners are invited to run stalls and can collect donation
sheets from Mr. Dexter Mitchell. Come and celebrate with them.
- Applications are invited for the post of Office Assistant for the
Cedros Parish. The successful candidate will be required to
work two (2) days per week and should be between the ages of
20 – 60 yrs. Applicants seeking further information
with respect to the post can contact Mr. Dexter Mitchell.
Preference will be given to suitable residents of the Cedros
Parish.
